Capitals announce Battle of the Bridge Pre-Season Tournament

The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals are launching the first annual Battle of the Bridge pre-season tournament happing at Credit Union Place on Saturday, August 31^st and Sunday, September 1^st. This four team tournament with feature the Pictou County Crushers, Amherst Ramblers and the Edmundston Blizzard. All games will take place at Credit Union Place in the main arena. The games will be a 20 minute first period, followed by two 15 minute second and third periods with no flood in between.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, August 31^st

1:00pm Pictou vs Summerside

3:30pm Amherst vs Edmundston

6:00pm Amherst vs Pictou

8pm Edmundston vs Summerside

Sunday, Sept 1^st.

10:00am Edmundston vs Pictou

12:30pm Summerside vs Amherst

3:30pm 1^st vs 2^nd championship

Cost is $10 per day for all games and ages.
